I try to throw a bit extra in there when I can though. Best return you'll get on your money!

We like to put a little more into the mortgage when we can too.

Our mortgage repayment is always the first to come out - and it's a big chunk, and being only on one income we don't have much left. We'd be in major default if we didn't hit the loan repayments first (especially because we just extended the loan to buy a new car).

Own here as well, I love property (realestate.com.au) is my most fave ap! We are currently putting in a pool but I have my eye on a block in the next suburb. DH is yet to be convinced!

A pool would be nice in summer - but DH had a pool growing up, and is determined we will never own a pool as it takes so much to look after!

I am a bit the same. I don't have one of those husbands who wants to work around the house so I need to be sensible. No room at this house really anyhow.

Hubby wants a pool here...but we are on a great big slopping block! He has a few good ideas, but I want downstairs built in first and the internal staircase, before a pool.

I had a pool growing up and can't wait! We've had a spa for 10 years so DH is comfortable with all the chemical/testing side of things. We plan to get a cover so if it's not being used it can just sit until required, but I have no doubt it will take more time that we want! Who has any spare time these days!

I had one too and had to clean it and do the ph level testings and all the chlorine. I loved it and want a pool too, but don't tell hubby that!

I'm excited and jealous mostly, Em, don't get me wrong....maybe next house. I loved having one growing up but it's definitely a dream thing where I want to live in Adelaide.
