I moved back home to Queensland 8 years ago, not to freeze my butt off. We transferred from the freezing South Burnett to the Sunshine Coast, to avoid the cold. Why is the horrible cold weather here?! Grrrrrr.

I think it should get back to normal next week. Friday is apparently going to be cold for us again. It was pretty cold at school today. I wish I'd taken my scarf. Some of the classrooms were like ice boxes. It was 12 degrees at 9 o'clock. The demountable building that I was in first would have been even colder. Poor children were shivering.

It's horrible weather. I feel for the little ones. My two are rugged up but classrooms are freezing!
One of the rooms I work in at Maleny was like an icebox! Brrrrr!

It didn't make 16 degrees yesterday. I think at work it go to around 13 degrees but the wind chill factor would have had it below 10 degrees. Bloody awful. It is finally starting to warm up now. 20 degrees here today.

It was 0 this morning in Melbourne when we headed out - strangely it didn't feel too cold. Maybe we're just acclimatised. It was a nice sunny day.

Stunning day yesterday. We managed to get to a top of 25 degrees! :D Happy dancing was occurring. Hoping for the same again today. Sun is out and shining and even though it is a little on the cool side, I am in a pair of shorts, singlet and long 3/4 sleeve top at the moment.
