It probably is Lynn. But we don't do cold well. We really don't have the appropriate clothes to wear when it does hit and our houses are designed for the warm weather not the cold. Friday is apparently going to be 16 degrees which is really cold for here. Our winter days are normally around 22 -23 degrees. We usually only wear a jumper or coat for the first part of the day. Some days you can get away with just a short sleeved shirt. Today it was 12 degrees at my school at 9am. That's pretty cold for us. It did warm up to around 18 degrees but there was cold wind, so most people had jumpers and scarves on the whole day. When I left school at 6.30pm it was 10 degrees. Most unusual. A week ago it was still 18 degrees at that time.

We didn't get above 14 degrees today. I feel like I'm back in Murgon!
Like Anita said, we generally have a one jumper winter up here. I had to dig out my thermals!

I have a coat but I only wear it outdoors :) I think it's mostly what you're used to. I remember thinking it was roasting when it was 28 degrees when I lived in London.

Looks like I'm getting a semi decent return but will likely go towards our holiday next year as opposed to something just for me...

I did ours last weekend. Centrelink have already done the childcare reconciliation so the return mustn't be far away - DH has a bill so I will lost most of mine to that.

Didn't do it last night. But I just finished. So easy with MyTax. I'm getting a return. I desperately need it too. It will pay a few bills of mine and get the credit card sorted out.

Well I got my return - half is going on paying DH's HECS debt and the rest was spent on new glasses.

$850 all up for these with lenses and new sunglasses lenses. It's expensive being blind!
