Tax, tax, tax

So tax time is upon us! Anyone expecting a decent return and if so, any spending ideas?

I'm hoping for enough to afford a camera and lens, probably 2nd hand for both, as brand newies would be well out of my price range. DH will get some money back but goes into the bank for future fun stuff like holidays, and boring things like car services. :D

I've been trying to log on today, but the site is still down. DH is buying a big chainsaw so there goes a big chunk of ours. We will get a bit back because of childcare which is why I want to get it done! The rest will go onto the mortgage or into the offset at least.

We always manage to get a bit. This year it is going into the offset account. We are saving up for Europe for my 40th, which is in four years time!

I don't ever get much back. I usually spend it on the kids or purchasing something small.
If I get a decent amount I would love to buy a new iPhone but that is more likely my Xmas present.

We are going to France, Germany, Austria, Poland and finishing in Spain. Trying to get as much money together to take the kids too. Going to use my long service leave and go for a good holiday. :D

Sounds amazing - a friend has moved to Spain with her family for six months.

I'm super jealous. That sound fabulous, well deserved too but still totally jealous.

You will definitely be inspiring jealousy in everyone who sees your FB feed!! Myself def included.

I hope to get a good return but we'll see. In an ideal world, I'd like to get enough back to buy a new slr.
